Fund raising to investment projects
The work on the fund raising and search is a complex set of the actions and procedures, which, finally, allow for filling an investment project with the funds required for its implementation in full and under the conditions optimal to all parties. For a financial investor the awareness and assurance of the safe, effective and guaranteed investment of money, and for the project originator – the assurance of a financial partner’s reliability and stability, the availability of exclusively good faith in the parties, are the key point.
Such work is much more difficult than the loan-based fund raising since it assumes dealing with the projects where the source of return on investment will be the project income receivable. For the project originator or the financial investor, the conditions should be created in which the current and future risks of the project are examined in detail and mitigated, as well as all necessary conditions for its successful implementation are designed in and created.
With this respect, my office performs the following:
- Project pre-analysis the results of which allow for a real estimate of the possibilities for fund raising and the subsequent project implementation success;
- Valuation of financial performance of the project;
- Arrangement of marketing research;
- Workup of the project funding schemes;
- Performance of an independent Due Diligence procedure the results of which will be accepted by the potential investors;
- Arrangement of an independent estimate of the cost of business and assets;
- A required project adjustment which will allow for fund raising and an effective project implementation;
- Relevant business plan and financial model preparation;
- Preparation of the required set of documents for making a transaction;
- Investment project promotion both among investors and the consortium partners, and in the open investment market;
- Integrated transaction support.
You have to understand that my business interest as the one of a private consultant is, first of all, in the successful investment project implementation (return on the invested funds and the planned profit-making).
